The first half is over.
It had been a dramatic 2011. Health, relationship, new house etc
Mom is requesting a grandson. Hope my sister can fulfill her wish.
Working is becoming a routine job. I’m tired of performing a one man show.
The pathetic side is the managing level doesn’t even know what I am working on.
My manager requested me to come out with a list of my key achievements for the last 6 months. Hell yeah.
Working is an art of acting. Everyone have to cc everyone (at least your direct boss) to show that you are contributing. The performance valuation is ain’t about how good/efficient of you at work or how much you contributed to the organization. It is just about how pretty you can write in your emails.
If you have any interesting ideas to bring out, you better keep it to yourself. Like Barney said: To stay in the company, just act like you are working. If you really do something, that’s what get you fired.
That’s all about work. Now it’s just left the last move.
